Sunset Dive

Sunset Dive

This is just a variety of shots of interesting people who crossed my path in Austin, Texas on a few hot late August days.  Sunset Dive and Cazadores were taken from a balcony at the Oasis, a popular Mexican restaurant on the shore of Lake Travis.  Cazadores is an excellent Tequila.  There was a draught that summer and the lake was about 60 feet below it’s norman level.  The two runners were shot on the side of Town Lake across the bridges from downtown.  Town Lake is a great spot to get candid street shots of girls running.  The girl with T-Rex tattoos was captured outside one of Austin’s many Mexican restaurants.  It took a considerable amount of begging to get her to pose.  The final 3 images were shot on or near Sixth Street.  This area of Austin is famous for it’s many bars with cheap drinks, and live music.  It is the closest thing to Burbon street anyone will ever find in Texas.
