We’ve been to Italy, the northern part, next we’d like to do Rome, etc. Beautiful!

Try Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Sicily.

Yes, those are places we were talking about. Looking forward to more travel next year.

It is hard to go wrong with Italy. Rome does get crowded, but it is still beautiful.

Kinda like Greece….gotta see the Parthenon in Athens, then get out and go to the islands. :)

I have not been to Greece yet.

I have family there. The islands are amazing!

Beautiful photos, Ron.
About the widgets, don’t miss them. I’ve always wondered, though, how many have found the feature useful to their blog traffic.
April 16, 2014 at 12:12 pm
David, the only time I have found widgets useful is when there is some problem navigating using controls built into the theme, and then I have to rely on “recent posts” or archives.

I can’t have been paying attention, Ron. The widgets comment went right over my head. :( But I would still consent to accompany you and the missus to the Colosseum :)

It’s just that there are no widgets set up and I am wondering if anyone misses them.
I’ve been debating dumping mine too, as I didn’t start with them, then added them later. I don’t think mine contain any necessary information.

The benefit is infinite scroll works with the widgets off. I would like to not have “likes” unless the post is accessed, but that keeps likes from showing on the carousel. It is a recently introduced bug.

I probably wouldn’t have noticed the lack of widgets, for a while, if you hadn’t told me. But being widget-less certainly makes the page stream-lined.

It would be more stream-lined without the sharing buttons, but that would turn of “likes” in the carousel, a recently introduced bug.

Sometimes I find the likes present in your carousel and sometimes I don’t. They were available on your photos in this post.

The bug showed up two weeks ago. The likes will show with Modularity Lite, but not with several other themes like 2012 and Ryu.

I see. WordPress is not WordPerfect.

For a while there was a bad bug in the media library that prevented the display of unattached images. They fixed that one a few days ago.
