Maui Magic
The lovely bell girl worked at the Mariott in Wailea. ”Surfer Girl Wipe Out” was seen near Spreckelsville. I grabbed White Lunch in Paia. The bikini clad whale watcher was shot at Makena Beach State park. I had the pleasure of scuba diving in that general area. The next 5 were on a whale watching trip out of Lahaina where the two girls kept us company. They were friends of the boat captain. The next 4 images (starting with “West Maui at Sunrise”) were shot in Wailea. The last one was captured at the end of the road several miles past Big Beach. Do I have to tell you I am in love with Maui?
These were taken with either a 70-300mm VR zoom or a 20 year old 20mm f/2.8 AF prime, both on a D700. The images are not marked by lens type, but it should be obvious when the 20mm was used as it is very wide on a full frame D700.
