Palermo is a small city that gives the illusion of a big one because it is so densely populated.  It is a difficult place to drive a car, but all of Sicily is too.  Food here is very good and wine is cheap.

When I  arrived at the hotel in Palermo the clerk asked if I had relatives there.  It was my year round suntan which prompted the question despite my total lack of Italian ancestry.

    • These images are from Palermo, Sicily. There is a Europe menu button with Italy on the drop down, for more.

        • The last trip to Italy was in April of 2012. The images from Palermo were recently updated with new edits reflecting my current style.

  3. Wonderful! You should move your watermark either to the middle or make it more central because it can be easily cropped out. It’s a suggestion :)

  12. The foosball action scene is fantastic. Have you ever played it?

I was going to tell you you must have strained your neck to get that Byzantine ceiling when I finally read: Byzantine Dizziness. ;-)

    • I played foosball many years ago as a teen. A close friend had a table.
