A Private Concert
These images were captured in May of 2012. Under US 59 was shot behind the George R Brown Convention Center. Private Concert was at the Miller Theater in Hermann Park; it has turned out to be a favorite in photo forums with some saying the water bottles impart a sense of mystery.

Thank you. Black and white is harder to do than it looks because the response of a digital sensor is not the same as film.
I can count the chairs, what camera do you use?
It was shot with a D700 and a 70-300 VR @70 mm and wide open f/4.5. I have since moved to a D800 which mainly allows more cropping, although the detail can be amazing. I still have the 70-300, although it had to go back to Nikon due to impact damage. It took me a while to dial it in when I got it back.
Thank you, I’m doing some research in this area, what do you think about Sony DSC-H50? I have no idea if they are still sell it but the shots are pretty good.
I don’t know anything about any camera other than Nikon. There are deep discounts right now on the D600 with 24-85 zoom.
