  1. Love that Harley!

  2. That Harley is my idea of what those bikes should look like, not loaded down with frills, but clean and sleek. Awesome shot! Congrats on the number of views Ron, no surprise as your work is wonderful. Keep up the great job!

    • Thank you Erica. Quite a few people noticed that bike. A true “found object” photo.

    • Thank you. Hit a few more clicks, I am almost there.

  5. I’m chiming in to nth the love of that Harley. My dad is a Harley man, and one of the baby pictures of me hanging in his house is of him, in all his mullet-ed glory, holding me while sitting on his old Sportster (which he eventually sold when my sister was born). He now rides a big ol’ touring bike. But I’ll always have a soft spot for little Sportsters.

    • Thank you Amber, I am getting some great feedback on that photo. Having the right subjects makes a difference.

    • Please do not be disappointed Erica, but I don’t participate in awards or similar activities.

      • I’m not disappointed! It’s okay, at least I tried… Hahahaha!!! ;)

  8. A very nice B&W set. Congratulations on breaking the million view mark.

  9. Dang it! I wanted to be # 1,000,000….guess I will settle for 1,000,007. The black and white photos are great. I like all of your “people” shots, but I like the natural, un-posed ones best. The bike is cool, but I like the last photo. You seem to capture part of a person’s spirit when you photograph them, especially in a natural photograph.
    Maybe I will be your #2,000,000 view…

    • Rainey, thank you so much for your comments. The two men with the camera is really about people. The bike isn’t a great photograph, but it is a photograph of a great bike. It is impossible to tell exactly when 1.000,000 hits was achieved as the cumulative total is not updated as frequently as the daily total that I can see in the stats. I must admit that I have used a scientific approach to designing the blog that increases the involvement of the viewer and consequently the hit count. Hint, use galleries.

    • Thank you Andrea. Too bad Nikon won’t send me a new lens or something for that :)
