White Linen Night

Girl on a Pink Bike

White linen night is a merchant sponsored street festival held on the first weekend in August in the Houston heights.  All are encouraged to wear white linen, but the ladies always do a better job.  The choice of clothing is very practical as the heat index is around 104 F/40 C in our torrid midsummer evenings.  Messy old Ron does not wear white in any event.  Please enjoy this collection of street portraits and candids while I take a day off from posting photos from my recent baltic trip.  Yes, I am home for a change.
