March Gallery Visits

Barbecue Chef

Barbecue Chef

Afterglow was exhibited at Sicardi Gallery.  Gilbert Hsaio’s  show was at Gallery Sonja Roesch.  I bought a venison sausage sandwich from the chef outside of Hardy and Nance Street Studios and went inside to find a girl taking pictures with her mobile phone held high.

  1. I love the black and white. There is a play of shadows reflected beneath the feet of the people you captured. Beautifully done.

  3. I’m not sure why, but I really like the black and white pic of the long hallway. I just want to keep looking at it.

    • Thank you, why do you find her blouse so interesting?

      March 15, 2014 at 10:22 pm

      • The diaphanous sleeves. I think blouses like that are terribly dashing!

        March 15, 2014 at 11:53 pm

        • I love that word, diaphanous.

          March 15, 2014 at 11:54 pm

        • Mhmm, somebody did a good job with that one

          March 15, 2014 at 11:57 pm

        • With the word or something else?

          March 15, 2014 at 11:59 pm

        • The word! It sounds like it belongs with fairies and cloudtrails and nice things in general. Unpleasant things aren’t diaphanous

    • There is a web site Glasstire that lists all major Texsa art events. All the mentioned venues are easily found by a web search.
