Comicpalooza Houston 2014

Cute Ninja

Cute Psylocke

Comicpalooza is a science fiction and fantasy expo. It offers participants an escape from reality. Most of those in costume were young women, although a few guys came dressed up along with their girlfriends.

Love them all! What fun it would be to dress up and escape from daily life for a little while.

    • Yeah, that is the big draw of the Renaissance Festival, which gets a somewhat older crowd in the presence of lots of beer.

  4. Great photos Ron, looks like a lot of fun to go see this. I went to one Renaissance Festival many years ago in Michigan – the beer did indeed flow, and the wenches were aplenty. Fun!

  6. We have one of these science fiction conventions here too. I never thought of it as great material for photographs, but it is “right up your alley” in one of the genres you do. Nice work!

  8. This makes me miss conventions.

I believe the ‘country girl’ is a character from Cowboy Bebop – thanks to the dog plushie!
