Puerto Galera

Four Girls on The Beach

Four Girls on The Beach

At  Sabang in the Puerto Galera area I stayed and went diving at La Laguna Beach Resort.  It had a nice pool, a good restaurant on premises and lots of other places to eat nearby.  Prices for food and beer were low.  The rooms were of modern motel style.  The PADI dive shop is run in the highly organized dive school style.  That means no advanced card, no deep dives.  Most of what there to see was in the shallow water with some of the best dives being in the 10 to 14 meter range.  I remember doing one deep dive ending at an anchor with wild currents.  The dive center has technical diving instructors and closed circuit Inspiration rebreathers available, If you like that sort of thing.

Very nice. I can almost taste the sea breeze. Golden Portal appeals especially to me.

        • it was great! I’m going to whine a bit and say it was too short as I generally go for a month, although anything is better than nothing, and I’m truly not complaining!!! 🙂 This year my son and his wife are expecting a baby girl…hopefully in the next few days so I wanted to make sure I was here for the special occasion!!!

  13. Thank you for liking “The Things We Do for Love: Odd Love Rituals.” This is another great gallery of beautiful photos. There are so many interesting elements in “Rocks at Laguna Beach” – the bright color of the boats in the background, the texture of the rocks, and the shadows of the waves. I like how the curves of the clouds are somewhat similar to the curves of the boat in “Joe Rags.” The “Red Sun Hotel” is a striking building, and it looks great in black and white. Well done! 🙂
