Hong Kong Island

Hong Kong has two major areas, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.  The island is home to skyscrapers and hills.  It may be navigated by a network of elevated walkways allowing pedestrians to avoid long waits for traffic signals.  Alleys are home to retail stalls and small restaurants.  Rents and housing costs are outrageous.  A tiny apartment in a good area runs about US $3,000 per month.

  4. Kowloon, as far as I know, is supposed to be what the setting for BladeRunner film was based off. It’s pretty incredible looking. That and Singapore at night.
