Macau is gritty compared to most western cities, or even nearby Hong Kong.  Some of these photos illustrate the crowding found in much of Asia.   The area mostly lacks the skyscrapers and high rise apartments so prevalent in Hong Kong.  There are massive gambling casinos, but the atmosphere is nothing like Las Vegas .

    • A lot of folks like my door/wall/window shots. I guess it is the simplicity and geometry. I started doing these about a year ago.

  5. I like the black wave, not sure why but I guess there is just something about the combination of lighting and ‘life’ in the photo 🙂

  6. We almost made it to Macau from Hong Kong a couple of years back but instead detoured to see the golden Buddha located outside Hong Kong. Good to see Macau through your lens!
