Kite at Miller Theater

Kite at Miller Theater

Houston is mostly flat.  If you want a hill get a few bulldozers and pile up dirt from somewhere else.  That is how the mound in Centennial Gardens was built at the North end of Hermann Park.  It features a spiral ramp to the top.  The mud soaked woman was participating in a nearby team building exercise known as Goruck.  Participants pay to do boot camp style exercises.  The kite was flying by Miller Outdoor Theater, another man made hill.

      • Like those around Las Vegas. Funny thing is, being from Michigan there are no mountains, just a big bump in the Yooper that is about 1200 feet! got quickly used to seeing these foothills and mountains around us all the time.
