The arch is literally at the tip of the peninsula of Cabo San Lucas.  It is accessible mainly by boat, but a serious rock climb from the Grand Solmar beach will take one within viewing distance of its back side.  People must share the area with sea lions.  They are cute, but they bite.  It’s so closely associated with Cabo that it appears on tee shirts.  I used my pseudo IR processing to get a slightly different result from the hundreds of tourists who photograph it daily.  While walking through the marina or on the beach boat drivers will offer this trip to you repeatedly for US$10 or $12.  I paid 200 pesos for two people, about US$13.50 plus a tip.  The entire series was photographed from a small rocking boat.

  4. Very effective shot. The scene reminds me of the Needles off the coast of S England. Des.

    • Thank you. There is actually one more column, but the lighting was such that it was better to crop it out.
