Another Day in Heaven

It takes over 2 days to sail from Puerto Montt to the Magellan Channel.  Most of this time the ship is in an inside passage with mountains on either side.  These images are from the second day.  I was extremely lucky with the weather.  The ship’s naturalist said he had never seen it so good in 5 years.

  2. I’m sure you still would have made good photos even if the weather was not as good, stormy weather sometimes makes fantastic photographs

    • Coming from someone who really knows what a bad at sea is you must think I have some real sea legs.

      • Those big cruise ships can handle a lot of weather. Did you hear about the Anthem of the Seas that just returned to NY after passing through a hurricane force storm?
        I know you’re a great photographer.😉

        • I heard about the Anthem. Thanks for the compliment, but when the going gets tough, I head for the bar.
